Shimmering?
Store bought gnocchi really?
I am so used to seeing right handed knife choppers, that when I see a left handed colleague chopping, it looks odd.
This recipe is nice ma'am, even better with slices of mild or hot/spicy Italian sausage(s) in the dish, I prefer the potato gnocchi from the fridge section if no time to make from scratch.
I like DeLallo Gluten Free gnocchi. I have a hard time trying to make some with Gluten free flour so I buy it. Can't compare it to actual gnocchi because I haven't ate gluten in years due to an allergy.
Alright I'm all for convenience Foods if the quality is good. But if I wanted to make I could figure out a good sauce to make with them on my own. Make perfect gnocchi at home. Because I have tried a number of times, and I can never quite get it right. Either they are too mushy and underdone even after I thought I overcooked them, or they fall apart in the boiling water. I can't seem to hit that middle ground.
Ashley's series never disappoints!
Thanks Ashley. I never thought of toasting the gnocchi. Just one question, why not wash out the tomato can with the cup of water and gain that flavor instead of plain water?
Amazing video and recipe again!! Thanks so much Ashley!
I realize few people have the time to make their own gnocchi, but store-bought gnocchi is [typically] very disappointing. It gets the job done, and I've been lazy enough to buy my fair share of it, but I strongly suggest making your own! It's easy, and there are some interesting ways of making it. I recommend checking out Chef John's ricotta gnocchi over on Food Wishes! I think he even has a sweet potato version!
Mmmm I need to make this.
Its this woman again!!!! My god is she attractive.
This has become one of my favorite serious from ATK that I always click to watch. Thanks Ashley!
Gnocchi is wonderful made right. Been a while since I had any.
Added to favorites. Boom. 👊
That looks amazing to have on a cold winter day/night. QUESTION: Can the sauce be made Vegan swapping the cream with almond or coconut milk and add nutritional yeast for the cheese taste? Dye to allergy I can't eat dairy. Thanks for your answer
But they are loaded with salt and someone like me cannot have salt so I have to make my own
Ok. But are we gonna talk about the faucet for the stove? That’s an awesome idea.
OH YEAH !!!
I found a gnocchi recipe using instant potato flakes that looks super easy, going to try that tonight. I agree, store bought gnocchi is like eating a used piece of chewing gum
Oh this is Christmas Eve dinner!! Added the ingredients to my list. Something different. TY Ashley 😏
This looks great. I already updated my shopping list.
Another easy, delicious recipe, Ashley!! Perfect for weeknights!! Thanks, as always!! 👏👏

Sorry, I’ve never tasted a store-bought gnocchi that I’ve liked.
