  1. KENT we love ya, we do…but, That porter road is the most expensive meats by far I have ever seen, Like im seriously , not shocked, but pissed off! 25 dollars a pound for ground beef, 43 dollars a pound for rib eyes..I mean, My God forgive these people. And the beef ribs, im pretty sure you are supposed to get the four ribs after the others are cut off but these are 3 ribs…hmmm, oh and they are 100 dollars! I think he feeds those cows gold flaked grass.. PEOPLE, a turkey is 158 dollars. OMG man…that is crazy nuts. I swear I would go vegan if that was my only choice, woo weee!

  2. You can’t turn a cow patty into a filet mignon, but you can turn a filet mignon into a cow patty! Always buy the best protein you can and prepare and cook it properly. I will use a gas grill if i’m in a hurry and just cooking for me. But you can’t beat cooking over coals! God bless everyone reading this!

  3. Looks good. But man, I just can't buy meat with the bone in (except for ribs). Since they charge by weight, it makes me feel like I am paying more for the same meat with no benefit.

  4. You said when they come out of the ice box (speaking of pork chops)…that's funny. My grandmother had an ice box and we would go to town every few days or at least on saturday to the ice house and buy a couple blocks. An experience you can't have today and I treasure the memory. Love your videos. Oh btw my grandmother had a root cellar too and she did a lot of canning on a cast iron wood stove. They also butchered their own hogs and the butcher (a distant cousin) would do the cutting work for the leavings (the parts most didn't care for). Thanks!

  5. Been watching you for a couple years Kent and I was so excited to see you on bbq showdown! I was mad to see you go over fish😤 I think you should’ve won the thing but I know you are already successful in cooking so it’s alright. Keep being you! 🫶

  6. I had the best "Poke-Chop" I ever laid a lip on in Paducah, KY many years ago. That puppy was THICK and ooooohhhhh soooooo GOOD! What a great meal there! God bless you both in your efforts.
