This BANANA BREAD Recipe is FIRE 🔥l Recreating ATKs Ultimate Banana Bread

This baking adventure was a recreation of America’s Test Kitchen’s Ultimate Banana, and fire aside, this came out really well.
Did we answer the question if this truly is the best banana bread, mostly by “juicing” the bananas and reducing the liquid? 👍👍

Hilariously, the crispy top was the best part, and if I did this again, first, I’d remove the parchment before using the torch, but second, I’d add less sugar (1/4 cup/50 grams), so brulee’ing wouldn’t be needed.

It’s always fun to see if a “better” version of any food exists. In my experience, the classics are classics for a reason, but I enjoy the journey and trying something new.
