I went out and bought gochujang for the first time, simply because this recipe looked too good not to try. My 3 year old ate it so fast we had to ask her to slow down, for fear of choking. She asked for more. This is now being added to our rotation. Thank you! Such an easy and awesome recipe!

What is the best way to cook the pork for longer to get it more tender without burning the sauce? Can I braise pork shoulder for 1 hour then pour out liquid, then cook with sauce for a few minutes? Thanks.
I am ALWAYS telling my friends, you HAVE TO HAVE BBQ WITH THE WRAPS! It's shocking how many American KBBQ joints don't bring out lettuce for wraps. It's a non-negotiable. I have called restaurants in advance to make sure they have it 💀 meanwhile my friends say they're addicted to KBBQ, and they're not even enjoying it to its full potential!!! the gochujang sauce in this video looks amazing and super versatile, can't wait to try it!

Before I make this dish, I would like to know just how spicy it is. I have two people in my home who cannot tolerate hot spice/medium spice or even some light spice! Ugh!! But my mouth is watering seeing this dish!
Dude, this was so freaking good. I used honey instead of corn syrup, but I did your recommended sprinkle of MSG and holy cow, was it good.
So I've made this several times now for family and friends and ALL say it tastes better than the Korean BBQ we went to for my birthday. I'll have to agree 100%
You forgot to mention whatever that red pepper is that you garnished with at the very end.
Can I skip mirin and corn syrup? Or what can I add as a replacement?
