What’s up Knox Ave Fam! This is the first episode of the soup series. I wanted to making something that’s a classic soup, but with maximum flavor and maximum customizability. Hope you enjoy!

Another great video Joe. I'm team butter, mayo wasn't bad at all but I just like the butter flavor better.
Smork
Another recipe I’m going to have to try. Team butter!
Dude, I love it! Veggies on the shhhhmoke are $$$$.
Mighty Joe, you are an incredible inspiration! Thanks for your ideas!
Shout out to Susan for inspiring a delicious soup! Your sandwich is perfect with it, but I really like your grilled cheese croutons idea too👍😊
Love cream of tomato soup
Team Butter.
Team butter
It's all about that Butta baby!!! This soup looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing!
Bombdiggity Joe, Props to Susan as well !!
That looks great. I wasn't expecting a soup series. That being said, I would love to see a beef and barley episode.
This is awesome man. Already know I'm going to love this series!
Do you have the hots for Susan?
Maybe I missed something, but how is tomato soup not naturally vegan 🤔
Very nice!!
Butter does make everything better. Tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches are a match made in heaven. That looks great. Cheers, Joe! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️
butter all day
Great looking Tomato Soup Joe. All the grilled cheeses needed was some bacon added. LOL. Looking forward to the French Onion Soup. I have only made it one time and that was 20 years ago. Mine was good and I don`t know why I haven`t made it since. Thanks again.
I have a request for a video series. Many people have switched to carnivore diet , myself included . I would like to find more ways to do BBQ carnivore style. Low carb no sugar mainly. BBQ sauce, and rubs are hard to do without sugar or carbs.
I have a couple , but more would be great. You may not have any interest in doing so , but it would be awesome for lots of people. You are so great at thinking outside the box , I think you would be up to the challenge.
Such a nostalgic dish and you took it literally to the next level 🤙🏻 great job Joe!
Joe – thanks for the soup series, I make a different batch weekly this time of the year. Do you think fresh tomatoes would work just as well as canned?
1:38 What is smork absorption? Just kidding, great looking recipe! Will have to try soon.
I’ve done a smoked “tomato” soup before, but I smoked, both homegrown beefstake tomatoes AND red bells. The onions, I didn’t smoke, but lightly caramelized with the peeled smoked red bells. Added some Marsala wine and reduced it, then immersion blended it. Some of this concoction went into making a whipped butter; the rest into the, tomato-heavy, soup. Definitely added umami😊
Great video! I would add beef tallow just to not make it vegan xD
Joe,
Excellent video! No one else has done a video series on bbq/ smoked soups. Way to be innovative, although I did suggest you do this last Winter.😂
I don’t think I have ever seen anyone fire up a 250 gallon smoker to cook a pan of tomatoes, garlic, and onions! I kept waiting for a bunch of famous bbq pitmasters to show up and arrest you for breaking some bbq law of not have a protein on the smoker!😂
What was that vegi stock? Did you make it or was it bought?
Watching you eat in slow motion with such satisfaction was wonderful!
I have a great addition for this for you to try. Alphabet soup but with Korean noodle letters! Then you can say the letters flew of the Korean newspaper into the soup for ultimate flavor!
Keep up the great work! Can’t wait to see the next soup video!👍
Smoked Soup! Right on bro! 👍👍
Amazing joe! I burned out a bit on doing the same bbq meats over and over, so this kind of content that branches out and incorporates it in other dishes is super helpful. Excited to follow this series!
Definitely on the butter side of the fence. I dont like how greasy the mayo makes the toast.
Shout Out, Susan! Idkw, but using mayo over butter seems to give me a more even toast. That was a good-looking soup.
How about Soup Dumplings. Xiao long bao?
I wish I liked cheese, but I’ll make the soup, nice and simple
Soup, the hot liquid that makes me feel like I’m getting screwed out of a meal.
