This might be the Perfect Steak Sandwich!
Best Steak Sandwich I’ve ever had!
Needed to use up some steak I thawed out before a trip, and this was so good we had it for lunch and dinner 😂
Ingredients:
• two filets, seasoned with @SPICEOLOGY SPG
• 3 tbsp beef tallow
• arugula
• 1 red onion, thinly sliced
• 2 jalapeños, thinly sliced
• 1 large tomato, diced
• 1 tsp brown sugar
• 1.5 tbsp Cajun honey rub @TFTI BBQ – Tony Ramirez
• 1 tbsp olive oil @Graza
• 1 tsp sherry vinegar
• salt to taste
• 2 parts mayo
• 1 part @POP Mustards smoked
1. Season up the steaks and let them sit for 5-7 mins. In the meantime, heat up the beef tallow and mix together the mayo and smoked mustard and pop that in the fridge.
2. Prep the veggies for the sweet and spicy topping, then combine the onions, jalapeños, tomatoes, brown sugar, bbq rub, salt, olive oil, and vinegar… and mix! Refrigerate until ready to serve.
3. Sear the filets over medium high heat for 90 seconds per side, flipping every 45 secs. Drop the heat to medium and baste until finished at 125°F. Remove and rest
4. Toast the roll of choice, then add the mayo/mustard sauce, arugula, the sliced steak, a generous amount of the veggie topping, and hit the top bun with more sauce.
Enjoy!

You make the best burgers and sandwiches i've seen on YouTube. Love it!
"Came up with" lmao…
wheres the bird from the window or the lobster soul?
Is this ai generated no hate the sandwich looks crazy
You seem like the nicest guy ever
Feels like a balsamic glaze or vinegar should go on top of that grass
Can't be perfect it has arugula
brb gonna go make this
Looks so good I just wanna eat my phone
Where’s the cheese?
I’ve been trying to make my own smash burgers at home and they don’t come out anywhere near as good looking as others I see and I am not sure why. Mine just kind of looked like burgers, they didn’t have the crispiness or anything, do I just need to cook it longer? More heat?
If only this was more complicated.
Love your vids. Genuine feedback though, annunciate your words more clearly or speak more slowly. I’m stealing this recipie
That looks like the perfect balance of meat, veggies, condiments & bread.
Too often I see YouTubers pile on 10 x more meat/cheese than everything else, or they have no veggies & just drown their creation in sauce.
I want to be able to taste everything! Don't want a mess of sauce to be pouring all over the place either.
This guy talks so fast
Subscribed. You caught me at the right time… hungry.
Good videos!!
First time ive seen your videos but my god does that look good dude!
Best steak sandwich I've seen to be honest 😋.
Personally I like this sandwich with its colour and freshness. It's more of a "treat" sandwich for me using a more expensive cut, but other cuts can be a bit tough for a sandwich, even if done medium rare and rested up. Again it's not about packing as much "stuff" into a sandwich as possible, more about marrying up a handful of quality ingredients for a quality outcome, which this sandwich does.
The average consumer isn’t buying expensive steak like a filet.
Try a sous vide Tri tip for 4 hours at 133 degrees. It’s outstanding!!! Only $12 lb not $25 or more
What kind of roll did you use
every time i watch this channel i feel like im discovering colors i didn't existed! this lighting is crazy
This is why i love your recipes they make me feel like I'm on MasterChef and you're Gordon Ramsay lol ❤😂
Its like 2am and now i want to make this. You deserve so much more recognition and likes!
So you say….
It looks nice but I'm pretty sure somebody else throughout the world or even throughout time has already came up with this sandwich.
I am never going to use filet for a sandwich but this looks banging. Would love to try it with a cheaper cut lol.
I actually used to use filet tails for sandwiches but not every butcher will sell them and they can be awkward cooking to the right temp sometimes, although I don't mind a medium for sandwiches tbh
dude dropping goated recipes fr
I never understood why people waste steak for a sandwich.
I like that you made a delicious steak sandwich without 1000 calories of various condiments and toppings. Too many YouTube chefs are just combining different unhealthy recipes to make content
Why dont U ever toast the sandwhich buns
Looks amazing
Very nice
