  1. Wasn't aware of Supermarkets selling decent beef short ribs.Been very happy with those from Costco, usually packs of 5/6 but this time I'm smoking a couple of whole racks….. right now actually. 😁

  2. I dont suppose anyone else can help, but I should remove most of the fat cap and silver skin?
And they should cook at external temps of 165F (1-2hrs), 250-275 (6 hours)?
Seems hot for quite a long time?

  3. You’ve spoiled what was probably a decent video with how you’ve responded to the comments about Fahrenheit in such a negative butt hurt way. I understand that you may wish to grow your American audience and mentioning Fahrenheit is essential for doing that but if your video is about people or the U.K. finding this rib cut in Sainsbury’s then at the very least, give temperature readings in Celsius too. And if someone calls you out on something, don’t play it down or go in on them, address the issue, take the feedback and do better next time. Nobody likes a YouTuber that thinks he’s a big shot who can’t take criticism. First vid I’ve ever seen of urs, came up on my recommended, yes you will get my engagement comment which might benefit you but I dropped off the video very early and have requested YouTube to not suggest your channel to me again. There is plenty channels out there like you buddy, don’t be a d*ck to your audience 👍🏻

  4. Love these videos, best resource on YouTube for BBQ in the UK!
I've done these Sainsbury's ribs twice now and keep finding I need to pull these, wrap them and finish them in the oven as the day gets too late after over 8 hours on the smoker. I'm cooking in a offset, chargriller competition pro, start at 110-120c first hour, then 120-136c for 4 hours, then up to 148c for another 3 hours and they're always at no more than 84c internal and not probe tender.
Should I try running these hotter, like 148c/300f for the whole cook? Any suggestions would be appreciated!
