The one where things get juicy and I show you some of my favourite concoctions to slurp on. Also, banana haters rejoice for there isn’t one in sight. HOORAY…

WHAT I’M WEARING:

THE GREEN JUICE INGREDIENTS:
A Small Knob of Ginger (depending on how spicy you want it)
A Handful of Mint
½ Lemon (you could leave the peel on, but it doesn’t agree with my gut – nice)
½ Lime
1 Big Handful of Spinach
1 Apple
1 Carrot
¼ Cucumber
2 Sticks of Celery. 

THE PEANUT BUTTER SMOOTHIE INGREDIENTS:
¾ Glass of Almond Milk (or whatever milk you fancy)
2 Tablespoons of Peanut Butter
1 Scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder (I use the Clean & Lean one –
½ Banana (if you can stomach it, unlike me)

THE BERRY SMOOTHIE INGREDIENTS:
¼ Cup of Oats
¾ Glass of Almond Milk (or whatever milk you fancy)
¼ Cup Full Fat Plain Yogurt
½ Heaped Cup of Berries (frozen or fresh, I used strawberries, raspberries and blueberries)
1 Tablespoon of Chia Seed
A Drizzle of Maple Syrup

  1. Love the video! I love green juice, my housemates always give me doubtful looks when I say how delicious they are though! And I've recently gotten into peanut butter and banana smoothies, my on campus smoothie bar does an amazing one with frozen yogurt – yum!
    Just a heads up about Whole Earth peanut butter though; despite their organic, wholesome appearance, last time I checked they actually use palm oil! Which is devastating for the environment, and tons of other brands make equally delicious peanut butter without!
    So yeah, be weary of them…

  2. THANK YOU ANNA!! So so helpful! I've been trying to juice every morning and lunch over the last few weeks for a bit of a health kick! however, other than putting the odd handful of spinach in, I am yet to try a savoury one BUT your green juice looks so good!! (what about the celery though, is it a much stronger taste than the other ingredients??) I love the idea of putting natural yoghurt and oats in the berry one, – instead of syrup have you tried honey?? Soo good! X

  3. I'm definately going to give the peanut butter one a go, I also hate bananas in a smoothie so I'm so glad you skipped them out!

    Does anyone know when you should really start using protein shakes? I go to the gym 3/4 times a week (for pretty hard core classes like spinning and boxersize) but I never know if I work out enough to have a protein shake and if it will just make me put on weight..
