  10. You should have a cousin party once a year to keep in touch. You are fortunate to know them. My dad was in the Army and we didn't see our cousins much, so I don't even know them. and sadly all my aunts and uncles are deceased and some cousins too. I know my husband's family better because his aunt had a cousin party once a year.

  18. Im with you, I dont like adding the bbq sauce with the pork in the mac and cheese. I drizzle it on mune afterward and some in my family dont want the bbq sauce at all. It benefits my family to leave it off. Yours looked super creamy and yummy

  29. Hey Mel I hope y'all are doing well. I just wanted to ask if you have ever tried the cracker salad with ritz crackers? I have been loving these garlic butter ones lately and thought that maybe those would be good. Also I kind of had a similar mac and cheese for dinner today but I used box mac and cheese and just topped it with pulled pork bbq.,I used the kinder apple bbq sauce and it was soooooo good.   36. Mel I'm not one to make egg salad. But if that's the quickest thing I have to eat what I do is beat my eggs add onion powder, salt and pepper and scramble till done. Then I add a spoonful of mayo to the eggs and a handful of saltines, crushed, yumm! Back in the 70s when we just didn't have enough eggs to stretch for breakfast mama would do virtually the same but leave out the mayo but mix the remaining ingredients and scramble up. We survived the way we knew how and I still do that today. Blessings y'all!

  40. Mel, so sorry for your loss. 🙏 me and one of my cousins was just talking about that, we don’t get together anymore, but we are gonna try and rent a house on the lake in September, and a bunch of family will come in. Hope you have a great upcoming week. 😊

  45. So sorry for your family’s loss. Hugs. Sounds like it might be time for a family reunion. Good old Grangier County tomatoes. Produce stands over here in Bryson City NC even make sure to get them in. I remember them running news stories about it being tomato season back growing up in TN.
