My tasty Irish soda bread recipe is made with buttermilk and it’s the perfect homemade recipe from Ireland. It has a lovely filling with a beautiful cakey consistency. It’s also super easy to prepare compared with yeast-based bread because there is no proofing time required.
If you’re new to baking, my easy soda bread recipe is a great bake to start off with. The buttermilk and baking soda raising agent makes this a traditional Irish loaf of bread which you’ll find all over Ireland.
