  1. Head on down to Santa Barbara County. Guadalupe, Nipomo, Oceano, Orcutt or Santa Maria. Give authentic Santa Maria style Tri Tip BBQ a shot. I know that you will enjoy it. Besides, after you BBQ the whole tri tip you can still cut it into steak size pieces. Seriously. Give it a shot. 😃

  2. There are many places that cut tri tip into steaks. Sometimes labeled as coulotte steaks. When cubed they make great stew meat cuts.
I was shocked to find out the rest of the country doesn’t get tri tip.

  3. Love the travel vids Brad 🙌🏼 thoughts on traveling with lighting that's utilitarian: petzl headlamp, very small great battery life, three settings for lumens. I bought mine for night time hiking and running $70, then saw that Outdoor Boys uses them for all his filming! AAA batteries or obviously better yet the rechargable option. Just a suggestion buddy!

  4. Belated happy birthday Bones!

I absolutely love these videos. I love the regular BBQ videos too, but watching you try out and also cook different foods from usual is wonderful. One of the things I really appreciate about your channel is you don't consider the only thing worth eating to be beef with some fried foods on the side and occasionally pork.

  5. Burma Superstar is so damn good. If you go again I recommend the tea leaf salad and whatever laksa type soup they had (mohinga?) Oh and it's at a few Vietnamese restaurants but get you mouth around The 7 Courses of Beef sometime.
