Off brand rolls truly are nasty…you can’t fix them w cream…use brand name stuff to begin with
Rhodes uses yeast in their dough, where the canned dough are made with baking powder and baking soda, the difference is yeast gives the dough a much better flavor as well as texture.
Wow, I like how those puffed up, the Pillsbury brand regular size ones didn't rise much at all, I was a little disappointed. I'm gonna try to find the Rhodes brand..

Storebought cinnamon rolls are a desperation buy. After making my own (started years ago, now) the only one that cuts it for me besides my own is my local bakery's delicious, big, super buttery cinnamon roll, fresh from the oven. You can't bargain with me over rolls.
