It was time for a new portable grill, so I picked this up. Overall, I’m very happy with this grill. Fairly easy to assemble, works great, and cleans up quickly. Check it all out in this video!

Do you have to use the water tray?
You talked about a quick change hose connection
Good video thank you
You need a portable workbench my dude 😉 great video. Just picked one of these up in 24' in the Green color
What is the thing on yhe chain, that is attached to the leg?
i just bought one can you tell me what the small chain hanging down below with tape is for
Thanks, mine is being delivered tomorrow
After a watching a bunch of vids on this, yours was the best
I ordered one of these grills and I am very glad I watched your video. Sounds like the instructions weren’t that great so if I have a problem, I will re-watch your video . Thanks.
I just received the Roadtrip 285 for Christmas 23. The leg lock is missing, so I can use a velcro strap to lock it, but I'm wondering if anyone else doesn't have the lock lever for the legs when dragging it around? Is the existing clamp, without the lock enough?
Perfect 👌
I have the same one but when I use the griddle attachment do I leave the cover up or closed
You are too fast! The legs do not align up!!
Very good video. Thank you. I put mine together at the same time. Very easy and will use right away
I just won this grill in a raffle and it is missing the safety lock.
This was exactly what I needed – I have only a few min to put this together once it gets delivered and now I have a game plan! Thanks man!
Bought this barbeque last year and used it for one season. Now this year it is unusable. The flame barely lights, no heat, can't find parts, or new regulator Coleman Road Trip 285 sucks.
Does anyone know what the dang chain on the legs is for?
I just bought one and the lid will not completely shut/ lock with the grates on. Not sure why or how to correct it
I'm stuck between this coleman 3 burner roadtrip and the weber traveler. Someone please help me decide.
Hi! I just got one of this and I'm trying to figure out what kind of connects I need for a propane tank. Thank you.
We just bought this and frustrated as the grill grates seem to be higher and won't let the lid close and lock flush. Does yours do this?
Thank you 🙏🏽
I just bought one today. Bigger fancy grills intimidate me! This seems pretty simple and functional to this “grill challenged” lady. Looking forward to trying it out. Very helpful video.
just bought 2 of these at my local colman outlet, went in to buy new camping gear(tents, sleeping bags, cooler). No intentions of buying these, but the price they had them, i figured buy one for my family and give one to my mother. well after opening mine up and seeing the ease of using it while camping, my mother aint getting hers. i would suggest getting the griddle insert and the connection to hook up the 20lb propane tanks. this is by far the best colman product i have ever purchased. if you see them on sale, buy them. highly recommend
I just got my Colman BBQ and while assembling it, the legs unstuck from the BBQ. What should I do?
How long would the tiny can of propane last on this? I bought 2 but I'm not sure if that's enough for maybe an hour or two of constant cooking lol
I have the same grill, and was able to connect it to the propane quick connectors on my camper, But to do so i had to remove the regulator from the grill since the camper already has a regulator at the tanks. I wouldn't call it a diy project. Honestly would have been easier just to refill the 1lb tanks.
I put one of these together yesterday and I couldn't get it to level I'm gonna watch this whole video and see if maybe I'm missing a part.
The piece you snap on at 9:29…
You see at this point in the video those black feet are pointing up.
On my unit those feet are horizontal.
That's the problem. They must have glued the feet on mine in the wrong direction at the factory.
Thanks for the video!
can you stand it up to store it in the garage?
