Strawberry Rhubarb! 🎉👏 Yes!
you need bigger mics…
I have enjoyed this episode. When you were talking about lasagna it reminded me of the switch I made from ricotta to Daisy brand 4% fat cottage cheese. It was not a health conscience issue but because my son-in-law doesn't like ricotta cheese. I like him so I switched. I also make deviled eggs with Miracle Whip because of him. He isn't a mayo fan. It's funny how we do things for our families according to preferences.
Dan, this podcast is so refreshing! We have been really enjoying the episodes. I did not know why it felt so comforting until it struck me today—this really feels like the "Great British Bake Off" of podcasts! I think the tea segment reinforces that vibe. Very kicked to see today's tea—Darjeeling first flush from our home state Bengal. We had Rahul Mondal, the winner of the ninth season in one of our episodes, who also said exactly what Vallery says—things can get pretty stressful behind the scenes. Love the podcast. Love the guests. Love from Calcutta.
They spent like 5 minutes talking about the actual title of the interview. The rest was really boring so I'm not surprised.
Wish these guys would stick to cooking and not television media stuff.
One of the nicest things about growing rhubarb is that the deer don’t eat it. It’s funny: every once in a while you’ll notice that they’ve taken a bite of a leaf (which is not the edible part, anyway!) and obviously did NOT like it! 😂
Great topic for today!
My father-in-law (retired trial lawyer) says that law students who get As become law professors, the ones who get Bs become judges, and the ones who get Cs become rich. Not many people really like law school….
Fantastic episode, I love Vallery’s take on flavors, that crab and shrimp soup sounds amazing.
Love the content, but the ads every 2-5 minutes are a bit taxing.
Vallery is such a great storyteller.
