  1. This looks really good, and beef stew was a comfort staple in our home too. I honestly would like some thoughts from whoeverโ€™s out there though on this: recipes like this rely on the meatโ€™s sear flavor and fat to bring the delicious umami and savory aspects to them. Isnโ€™t it missing when you use a soy curl substitute?
