Strawberry glaze:
1 tablespoon walden farms maple syrup
¼ cup fresh or frozen strawberries, roughly chopped
Pinch kosher salt
Smoothie:
1 pitted date
1 tablespoon sea moss gel
1 teaspoon fat free greek yogurt, for the glass
1/4 avocado, (fresh or frozen)
½ cup frozen strawberries
½ frozen banana
1 scoop Red Mountain Vanilla protein powder
1 scoop Collagen MSB
cup unsweetened almond milk
Strawberry Glaze – Cook the strawberries, maple syrup, pinch of salt and splash of water. Cook until the strawberries have softened. Mash with a fork and transfer to a bowl to cool.
The Smoothie- add all the ingredients into a blender, pulse until smooth.
To assemble, spoon the Greek yogurt into your glass. Start by adding half of the strawberry glaze to the bottom, then pour in half of the smoothie. Layer the remaining glaze, followed by the rest of the smoothie. Finish by garnishing with a strawberry.
