This no bread sandwich is perfect for those who wants something gluten free and easy to make
Sandwich at home .
Made with quinoa and Dal

Recipe details

Ingredients –

For batter-
1. Quinoa 1 cup soaked 4-5 hrs
2. ⁠mixed Moong dal and urad dal 1/2 cup soaked 4-5 hrs
3. ⁠Methi/ fenugreek seeds 1 tsp soaked 4-5 hrs
4. ⁠Salt to taste
5. ⁠Water 100 mL

For filling –
1. Onion 1 medium finely chopped
2. ⁠Capsicum 1 small finely chopped
3. ⁠Carrot 1 small finely chopped
4. ⁠Parsley/ coriander finely chopped 1 tbsp
5. ⁠Paneer 1/4 cup crumbled
6. ⁠Salt to taste
7. ⁠Red chilli flakes
8. ⁠Oregano
9. ⁠Oil to cook

Recipe –
1. Blend the ingredients required for batter with small amount of water to form a smooth paste and let it ferment overnight .
2. ⁠Once the batter is fermented, add salt and mix well.
3. ⁠Prepare the filling of the sandwich by mixing the filling ingredients other than oil in a seperate bowl and keep aside.
4. ⁠Now oil the toaster and add a laddle full of quinoa dal batter.
5. ⁠Add the filling on the top and cover it with another laddle of batter and cook until golden brown from both sides on a medium low flame.
6. ⁠Once done cut it into halves.
7. ⁠Serve it with green chutney or any chutney of your choice and enjoy!!
