  1. Adding lemon on the yogurt is good point! Because I don’t that most of the countries have sugary yogurts. Even if the yogurt doesn’t have fruit etc. But in turkey we have sour yogurts. If you add lemon on yogurt which doesn’t turkish you can’t catch Turkish taste but it would be closer.

  2. This is called “yalancı Mantı”, (Fake Mantı). Ground beef and butter is optional. As the tomato sauce and garlic yogurt really enhance the flavor. This is something my mom would make coming home from work on days she didn’t have something prepared in the fridge. It’s quick, filling and delicious 🤤

  3. This dish doesn’t have an official name; we simply call it afghani pasta. It’s simple meal that we’ve been eating for a long time in Afghanistan. It has been around for years, so it’s also considered an Afghan dish just like how Turkish people eat this cuz it’s a simple version of manti and (mento and ashak )=afghani food
