Its called "Yalancı Mantı" which translates as "fake mantı" as the ingredients are pretty much identical to Mantı except its done with pasta instead of dumplings. It is probably my all time favorite dish.
Yeah when your meat gets brown dont stop there and add some tomato paste(salça) and some tomayo juice and close it up. We all make the yalancı mantı in turkiye like this
Adding lemon on the yogurt is good point! Because I don’t that most of the countries have sugary yogurts. Even if the yogurt doesn’t have fruit etc. But in turkey we have sour yogurts. If you add lemon on yogurt which doesn’t turkish you can’t catch Turkish taste but it would be closer.
This is called “yalancı Mantı”, (Fake Mantı). Ground beef and butter is optional. As the tomato sauce and garlic yogurt really enhance the flavor. This is something my mom would make coming home from work on days she didn’t have something prepared in the fridge. It’s quick, filling and delicious 🤤
I recommend adding dried mint to the butter for the sauce. We call this lazy woman, new bride or student manti because for real manti, you need to prepare the dough by hand.
This dish doesn’t have an official name; we simply call it afghani pasta. It’s simple meal that we’ve been eating for a long time in Afghanistan. It has been around for years, so it’s also considered an Afghan dish just like how Turkish people eat this cuz it’s a simple version of manti and (mento and ashak )=afghani food

No salça no Turkish cuisine
Use ground lamb!!! Game changer
I’m Turkish. You forgot to add tomato puree in your beef 😅. We cannot have food without salça
bro knew not to call that greek yoghurt to avoid a civil war in the comments
Perfekt.
Just say what country not middle eastern which is a made up word by bloodthirsty American savages.
First yoğurt then sauce

Them good old turkish chipotle peppers
Bro your middle eastern??…man I always thought you were Mexican
Few weeks later it will become Greek pasta or Armenian pasta

Limon ne alaka
That’s a “no” for me. Doesn’t look appealing or tasty.
