The Weber GENESIS E-325s gas grill is where we start our review of the newly designed Weber GENESIS line, and we’re proud to say even the base model left our grill expert impressed. That would be the one and only Chef Tony, who put the grill through the usual paces to determine its quality, performance, and features from an objective standpoint. (Of course, that meant he also got to enjoy a couple New York strips fresh off Weber’s largest and hottest sear zone yet, but who’s keeping score?) From the impressive amount of commercial-grade stainless steel used in construction to the expanded usable space and everything in between, this Weber GENESIS E-325s grill review proves that the most popular name in grilling isn’t done innovating. And that’s not even factoring in the rock-solid performance of the upgraded burners and the nearly limitless culinary possibilities afforded by the new collection of Weber CRAFTED grillware! If this is the base Weber GENESIS grill, then we can’t wait to get our hands on the rest of them.

Chef Tony Matassa grew up in the restaurant business, starting in his family’s New Orleans eatery before running one of his own. No wonder he has such vast knowledge of and passion for food science, which he puts to use every day as our jack-of-all-trades (and master of many). Longtime fans of the channel know Tony has been testing grills for more than 10 years, though we’re partial to his performance in our recent Grillabilities℠ series.

I just purchased this grill about a month ago and unfortunately, in the last two years Weber for whatever reason probably cost cutting measures. Decided to take away some of the options that are really liked with my old Webber. I had the same model that was about 10 years old, which came with a propane scale and much nicer looking enamel copper colored hood as well as doors. I bought the newest model, and unfortunately, they did away with the propane scale, and it does not seem to be the same heavy duty quality of the old grill. Also, the extra rack on top is not a double rack any longer. It’s only a single rack. I just don’t understand why $1000 grill does not come with the same benefits is the one did two years ago. also my girl did have the side burner, but did not feel it was necessary on this one as it was a $200 option. So far the Cook quality has been very good, I just wish they kept the same options as they always have on the old grill.
THANKS for this video. PLEASE ADVISE: the fold-out upper rack you show in the video (part #64517 Expandable top cooking grate on Weber site) does NOT seem to come with the E-325 model, on;y with the older E-325s. The E-325 comes only with a single rack, which doesn't fold out, and is called a "warming rack" on Weber site. What's the difference p[ease and should I buy the expandable cooking grate to replace my smaller warning rack on the E-325? THANKS.
The GENESIS E-325S (s version) is not available on weber's site, only the GENESIS E-325 (non-S version) is. What's the difference? Is the S version discontinued?
Very helpful review! Just purchased this model!
I just replaced my 12 y/o Genesis with this model. Super disappointed at the HUGE gaps in the base of the model. I live in suburbia/farmland and I can see my grill will be “The House of Mouse”, with these gaps. What a shame. Weber makes a good grill but opted to cut costs by cutting quality rather than keeping quality and giving the consumer to pay a little more for it. Disgraceful.
Is the gas bottle on the side or under the grill? If it is in one side, which side is it?
Great video. Simple and to the point.
Great video!
DON'T BUY WEBER GRILLS , THEY SUCK, PROBLEMATIC FROM THE GET GO!!!!!!
Your robust yet simple to understand review educated me on the key points to consider that anyone buying a grill would greatly appreciate. Thank you for all of your work behind this.
Nice intro. I’m
Looking at this exact model and this demo sold me on it. Thanks 👍🏼
How is this one different from the Spirit E-315?
I had a Webber I bought in 1997 that still worked last year when I got rid of it. I bought this “thing” and I couldn’t be more disappointed. Total POS in every respect.
Nice review. Just got this bad boy today
Hi this is the upgrade of the génesis E -315 right? Or what do you recommend the 325 or 315 ?? Thanks excelent review 👍🏼
Just picked one up for the 4th so far, loving this new weber…
Such a detailed review but no context whatsoever on value Vs rivals and other Weber grills. Poor oversight for such a professional production.
hello, I just received the 325 s for Fathers day and had a question on the burners beneath he flavor bars. I noticed that the photo starts to put them from the right side going left, should there be a big space on the left side of the burners?
Thanks for the very detailed review!
Pretty sure your grill grates are upside down, they should be flat upwards
Apparently this is a little known fact but the porcelain enameled cast iron grates should be placed with the flat side up, and the triangular side down.
The grill was designed to be used with this configuration.
Thank you for producing this superb expert review. I purchased this grill last week and will give it a test run today in preparation for my daughter's birthday party on Saturday. Thanks again!
Just ordered one of these bad boys
Do not mistake this as a review guys, you are watching an advertisement
I'm currently looking at the S325 stainless version of this exact grill and I think I'm going to pull the trigger this weekend!
Ordered my yesterday !! Sam was a Super star and handle all my questions like the professional she was !!
Free delivery and saved money compared to the local store !!
Pumped !!!
Great and thorough review! Question for you guys, without looking at the new features, what's you opinion when comparing the 2022 Genesis to the last generation? Seems like the overall quality (thickness, solidity) of previous model is a notch above the new one. Might be an illusion but that's what it seemed like for me when I saw them side by side.
Thanks for the in-depth review. I just bought this unit yesterday, and don't think I'll be disappointed.
Very helpful. I just picked this model up.
Love your thorough reviews! Right down to the thickness of components and temps. Solid editing on your videos too. The SP E-325 has the 9mm stainless grates, handle lighting, and Weber crafted inset for $130 more so I'm going with that one. I saw on your site Weber is raising their prices (AGAIN) on April 1st so it's a good incentive to buy now.
such a legit review!
