The idea that neither La Banderita nor Guerrero made it further surprises me.
All the brands you picked are nasty🤢 yuck! I get 10 fresh tortillas for 1.89 at my local grocer. You can even watch them make them corn or flour.
the flour tortillas at stores have a terrible odor; at least they smell nothing like a homemade flour tortilla. I presume it’s the dough conditioners that change the taste. A great homemade tortilla can taste amazing just on its own!
They are talking about the soft tacos. How about the average burrito? Whether it's corn or flour, it all depends on what you add to the tortilla. Enjoy!
IMHO, Guerro is the best of the ones in this review and Old El Paso are not good. One that isn't there that is even better are Trader Joe's handmade.
I don't like either one of those.
My husband call. "What brand of tortilla do you want?"
Me: "hold on I gotta watch a video" 😆
i finally found this show on youtube
Diana's flour tortillas if you're from Southern Ca. All those other big brands are absolutey horrible, unfortunately that's all they carry at stores like Ralph's, Stater bros. etc….
My god, you people know nothing about how to prepare a flour tortilla. YOU WARM UP THE TORTILLA?? NO, YOU PUT IT ON A COMAL OR A SKILLET and lighttly BROWN it on both sides. Mission tortillas are also the worst brand. This is from a native San Antonian
yall know nothing about tortillas. All of those are wack.
We make fresh tortillas every week when we have beans – simple recipe of masa, salt, water, oil your hands, oil the camal, form each tortilla so that it is round and thick like a pancake, and cook on the camal until brown on the outside – this would be the authentic and traditional way to make a corn tortilla and you should end up with a thick small pancake like tortilla.
i just bought flour to make street tacos. and i bought mission flour tortias. there my favorite. i wear dentures. the are mission.
We are lucky here in Texas, HEB makes great fresh in store tortillas.
Thanks for changing the title.
Brigitte is SO hoot!
No.
BAIT AND SWITCH!!!!!!!!!! This video is about flour tortillas.
Come on, ATK, you could fix the title of this video. BTW, this isn't the first time I've come across this with ATK…I'm thinking of the video titled The Best Way to Sear a Steak in which there is no cooking (let alone searing, whatsoever.
Did they heat these on a comal first? or are they tasting them straight up out of the bag?
How is this title still wrong after two months??
Nope. Guerrero is definitely the best.
Oops at 1:10 it shows the name of the tortilla brand while still talking about the differences between brands. Next time we see a blank card.
I swear by ATK and very often buy from their recommendations.
400 comments about the title. Thanks everyone. One comment wouldn't have been enough.
My personal favorite has always been La Banderita and I actually dislike the Mission brand. La Banderita always seems sweeter, buttery and doughy which I really enjoy. I often eat them plain right out of the bag. To each their own though.
I buy a local brand because they're always fresher.
No way! I’d rather make them, hechas a mano.
Flour tortillas are terrible as corn tortillas.
Huh! Why didn’t they do Guerrero. My fav.
Thank you!
I know everyone knows that corn tortillas are better that flour tortillas, but people, you have to correct the title of the video. Sorry about that.
La Banderita is a good brand
where is the corn tortilla taste test???
