Jack those examples that you have there make me so sad. There is so much better chocolate out there ethically and taste-wise. The price is low because it is based on an exploitive business model. I would be happy to make some recommendations for you. They will blow your mind!
I'd recommend trying Lindt's 100% variant, it has a very pleasant and unique flavor if you don't mind the strong bitterness and it's stupidly creamy when it melts
Aldi chocolate for the win! It is awesome, cheap, and lots of varieties up to 90%. I've tried those others, except the alter eco one, and still like Aldi's the best. But let's face it — almost any chocolate is good chocolate.
“It’s a beautiful world…eat more chocolate”. This I can get on board with!
Life is better with less sugar and more chocolate.
I"m sorry, but how do you get the 85 Lindt tastes like coconut?
Montezuma brand Absolute Black!
100% cocoa, but with enough cocoa butter content to avoid the grittiness of baking chocolate.
If you drink black coffee, you already savor bitter:
You might be surprised.
(If not, dipping a corner in honey is wonderful, too)
I would never have guessed my palate would be “grown-up” enough for unsweetened, but… it’s almost like I can imagine the sugar.
I didnt know a 90% dark chocolate exist… always knew there was an 80… but isnt 90% too strong just to nibble?… 70% is enough to make my throat ithcy…
Jack, can I just say that listening to you just makes me all happy, cozy, and warm. May you live forever!
I eat only Baker's Unsweetened Chocolate 2 oz. per day. Any thing else is too sweet for me.
I like Europe's classification of dark chocolate 65٪ or greater
Jack is my favorite
I used to eat Lindt’s 85%; it’s nice AND balanced: protein to carbs.
chocolate is wonderful but it is no way a health food.
I have to laugh at this , if only people knew whay it takes to make chocolate ,i worked as a mechanic at a cocoa bean processor plant we went from whole bean to ready for end product
🍵I make my hot chocolate with the Ghirardelli chocolate!
So rich, and just a little sweet👌🏿perfect!
I love using 90% dark chocolate in Japanese curry!
You're 3 favs both have soy lecithin. Sad day…..I'm allergic. Alter eco is awesome….no soy!!
Loved that!!! AND Chocolate!!! Thanks
90%is yum
Can you do a similar video on cooking with msg? It is in almost all of the Asian-made sauces/broths/condiments I like and I would appreciate ATK’s opinion. I’ve been told it’s only a problem if you are sensitive to it, which most people aren’t. Thanks!
Mmmm I love dark chocolate.
