  1. Imagine buying Greek-made bourbon. The thought is heresy. So US-made Feta is equally a no-no. I find in my local supermarket imitation Feta is called "Greek-style salad cheese", which at least shows a sense of shame.

  2. Amen, brother! Also, it's pronounced "A-thee-NOS" (meaning, "of/from Athens") and it's probably entirely American. I concur … in a pinch, it will do. Dodonis (meaning "of/from Dodoni", the one he pointed to) is indeed leaps and bounds better as it's imported from Greece.
