Kansas City style is basically just ketchup with sugar in it LOL.
Sweet Baby Ray for me.
Sweet Baby Ray's Original is my fav.
Personally, I preferred the Heinz Kansas City sauce, which used to be available at my local Dollar General, then suddenly, no more. It was sweetened with cane sugar and brown sugar, instead of the high-fructose garbage in most BBQ sauce.
Cattleman’s is what 1/2 of all BBQ teams use and 80% of BBQ restaurants as their base.
I find it interesting that in all their BBQ sauce trials they never have had Open Pit which is the original commercial sauce. Personally it isn't my favorite but it is used as a base in many restaurants. I make my own but I wonder what their selection criteria is?
The best I use is Cattleman’s classic KC just the right taste on my ribs or anything
Slaps is the best kc bbq and sauce.
They are all loaded with sugar.
That sweet stuff with molasses isn't the KC BBQ sauce I grew up on. The ones I like are not sweet and have celery seed in them.
Trader Joes has the best one
You really need to taste the BBQ sauce once it has cooked on the chicken or meat because of the carmelization which takes place.
Settling on a best BBQ sauce is like ranking a best wine or chili recipe. Impossible. I give them credit for trying.
Glad they didn't pick a overall winner since it's such a subjective choice
Sweet Baby Rays for me if I’m not using my own
will there be a Carolina style bbq sauce review as well?
Is it my imagination or did they pick Bullseye #1 a few years ago?
why would you buy processed bottled bar b q sauce when it's so easy to make and cheap too?
Night of the Living Sauce by JoeKC.
We noticed Kinder’s Hickory and Brown Sugar was not included which is our new favorite. It’s definitely worth a try
I live south of the city, you left out one of the best sauces, Blues Hog. Made just northeast of kc.
Fries with good barbecue sauce are amazing. 🍟 Now I'm hungry for that. Maybe when Lent is over. 😋
Man, if you haven't tried Meat Rushmore Fountain City sweet, you haven't had the best one out there! Sweet, Smoky, delicious!
Gates definitely has a celery salt in it. Loves Gates!
You only tried 4 of 11 sauces?
I wish you guys would do some sugar free episodes for the diabetics out here.
Try Rib Rack.
