As an OLD DELHI resident…There is only one qorma…the many variants you mentioned are made a lot later…..i love your videos but the one you made was nowhere close to OLD DELHI STYLE qorma….it was missing rogan(Flavour Oil) and was looking like a paste
Oh my gawd, Andy!!! 🥹 I got so emotional watching this one. Each time I think "THIS PARTICULAR INSIGHT/RECIPE/LEARNING blew my mind today" , you always come up something extraordinary in the future.
Bro Korma had nothing to do with Mughals 😂 … whichever left liberal concocted these BS stories must know that Korma dates much longer in Southern India where it is much simpler, creamier and tastier recipe than the destructive & non-creative Mughals who are falsely credited for rich Indian cuisines 🤦♂️🤦♂️ in reality Mughals came from Central Asia and we don't have Biryani, Korma, Pulao, Nihari, Naan etc. in Central Asia.. all these are purely Ancient Indian dishes
considering the variety of options, whichever version you grew up with is the correct answer, there is no wrong answer, and I also think that if you changed one or two ingredients in one, and they were used in the others, still counts, thats how cooking works and thats the beauty of it! without experimentation there would be no tradition 🤙
These debates are so dumb. The beauty of food is that multiple regions and countries have different versions of them. WHO gives a crap about the “real” version
Actually people spend a lot of time & generations perfecting their dishes & just because we are born in that culture doesn’t mean we will cook certain dishes to perfection…it took me quite a while to cook perfectly what has been cooked in my family for generations….there are certain techniques & procedures without which your dish remains not the exact version….& it’s only with time you learn it, there is nothing to get so offended about….although there might be variations of a single dish but authentic one remains the one where it originated from….his Qorma doesn’t look authentic simply because he has probably missed out on a few steps, which he doesn’t even realize & that can easily be fixed. Those getting offended on his behalf need to relax!
And not 1 of those people commenting now 😂

Kudos for using the correct map of India. Most foreigners use it wrongly to gain traction and get viral.
