Weber has three main classes of the 22″ Kettle, the Original, Premium, and Master Touch Charcoal Grill. Each one has a range of features, but it can be hard to determine which Weber Kettle you should buy to be your charcoal grill. I’ll go over the different features and break down which ones are important so you can decide which one you should purchase.
Weber Kettle’s shown in the video:

2024 Update: Weber has changed what comes with the Master Touch. You get "Charcoal Rails" instead of charcoal baskets.

I just stumbled across this video tonight. It is short, informative and to the point. I bought on Original in 1992. It is old and weathered, but it still cooks like a champ. I recently ordered the Professional. I honestly didnt realize that it is taller. Glad to learn that since I'm 6'7". I got it for $275.
Great video. Thanks.

Thanks for comparing. Inherited old 1980s Weber.
What a well done, informative video. It's everything you need to know about the 22" grill.
What happened to the extra Half Inch? The Weber Kettle used to be called the 22.5''. I have the basic one. Inherited from a friend of a friend. I replaced the three bladed thing at the bottom. Added in the double hinged upper grill rack. Still works great. Mine has wooden handles. Made in USA.
neither they are all over priced you you 50 percent more just because it has WEBER written on it
I have the middle grade one for over 10 hrs. Use it all the time. It still looks new. Clean it often and it will last a long time. I use the snake method for smoking. It was a game changer for me. No better grille out there
does 47 cm Original fits food for 4 people? I measured a circle at home with 47 cm diameter, and it is already big!!!
Weber are quite low is quality and funishing and get worse after 20 cooking session
I purchased my webber premium brand new for only $25 dollars at Sears, when they were going out of business, it's been going strong 💪 since the first day of purchase 😊
You look almost like my professor… with the same calm voice… Also good video review.
I have the original model which I purchased 45 years ago for about $40. Still is in excellent condition and I grill all kinds of things on it all year round. Only thing Ive added to it over the years are some charcoal rails and a thermometer on the lid. The other newer models look great and have nice added features but I think I'll stick with my original! I even have a Smokey Joe silver for light duty cookouts and travel to parks. It works well also.
The best one is "SnS Slow n' Sear"!!
