Hot appetizers can be delicious, but they can also be a lot of work. Hannah shows us how to make a whipped feta and roasted red pepper dip that’s simple, can be made ahead, and uses ingredients we often already have on hand.

I cross it I like my olive oil salad kale siding drips.
Great tips for the garlic and feta.
Try all the same but don’t whip it with the feta. Leave it instead as crumbles folded into the whipped peppers, garlic, vinegar.
I added some chopped bacon and sauted onions
I love that she brags about having used the food-processor for more than ten years! And she also stated that her aunt had used it for ten years before her! Wow!
Oooooh You had me at "whipped feta"
That 20 year old food processor is the real mvp
My Cuisinart just died after 30+ years. Got a new one but it just doesn’t compare. Treasure that gem because you will cry when it’s gone 🤣🥲
Wow wow wow! Love this it looks delicious and love the retro FP!
Jenny's food processor from the block!
I have you beat by a few years. My mother bought one of the first Cuisinart food processors ever made. She was a pro-cook (she refused to be called a chef, but she totally was) and only bought the best kitchen devices. She used it almost every day. She gave it to me after around 15 or more years. I used it constantly for many years (I've been cooking for more than 50 years, I'm 65). I then gave it to my daughter about 18 years ago when she and hubby put together their first apartment and it's still crushing it! It has to be 45 years old or older. The one I bought to replace it died in less than 5 years. <sigh> Should I ask for it back? 😁 😁 😁
Jenn 🇨🇦 👋 Hi from Canada
My cuisinant food processor is about 25 years old. A real work horse. The blade never dulled . The plastic on the base warped slightly – too close to the stove flame that day! I did have to Jerry rig the long safety latch as it wore out, but I’m still happy with it.
Don’t expect your newer Cuisinart to be as well made…
Cuisinart began in 1971, founded by an MIT graduate. They essentially invented the food processor, and they were made in America.
Sadly, the company was acquired by the Conair Corporation, and their food processors are now made in China.
I'm married 20 years yikes that's a long time!lol. But I have the exact same unit, I got it as a wedding present in 2000. It too is as good as the day we received it. I use it several times a week. My aunt was a chef in Paris & would go to yard sales here and there look for & buy the kitchen Aid stand mixers. Which are hundreds of dollars to buy now & then. She'd pay $20 bucks. She has about 15-20 of them all ages, it's crazy they all work perfectly fine. And I love The nostalgia of it all looking at them.🙂👍 So keep your beloved Cuisinart food processor. 🤩😘
20 years? My Cuisinart is 40 years old and still strong!!!
Hannah, that dip looks amazing! Great job!
Will totally make! I like the idea of sprinkling crushed red pepper on the top. I have the same food processor handed down from the 80s..
Still going strong
I would love to eat this while looking at leaves FALLing from the tree and at the sad grey sky…
Whenever I make my version of this, which is VERY similar, I like to add some well rinsed, finely chopped castelvetrano olives at the end. Have to watch out for the salt content, but if you rinse both the feta and olives well it’s a wonderful treat.
“Rinse-e-poo” SO reminded my of my (deceased) mom, who said that all the time. Thanks for the lovely memory!
I'm not sure which is more intriguing, the dip recipe or the food processor… 🙂 I want to make this. Thanks for the video!
I had that same food processor that I passed down to my daughter. She’s been using it for years now.
Awesome! Also: #teamrinseypoo
👍
This is very similar to what we call pandemonium dip in my home country — just add crushed red pepper flakes or more of your favorite hot peper
I think it would work well with roasted poblano peppers . little more of a bite.
Could an immersion blender be used to make this? Or would it not be as creamy
Cow's milk feta? Then it is not DOP feta.
She looks like a pretty and thinner version of Amy Schumer.
Sounds so delicious. Can't wait to try.
Yum! Have all these ingredients on hand and my Mom’s food processor, 30 years and still going strong 💪😋👍
That food processor is at least 30-36 years old. It’s the version from the 80’s
Mine is from 1998 and looks more modern
Feta cheese is not made from cow's milk! Feta is a protected designation of origin product and made only from sheep's milk, or from a mixture of sheep's and goat's milk.
Totally making this!!
I'm definitely gonna try this!
What purpose does the milk serve?
Cream cheese, red pepper jelly, dash of heavy cream, & red wine vin, pinch of paprika, cayenne, & s&p. Whip it good 🙂
