  1. I do mine by weight and I find that 2.5-3oz is the right size and looks similar to the 3tbsp cookie in the video. Instagram will try to convince you that your cookies have to be gigantic 6oz monsters, but they really don't need to be (although I do enjoy a giant one every now and then).

  2. Despite the title, the video did not explain "why bigger cookies are scientifically chewier". It just stated that it's the case. And then picked a random size as "best", like that's independent of all the other variables.

  3. I worked at a corporate mall store called The Cookie Factory when I was a teenager. They made giant cookies, their secret was the dough came out of the machine (shipped to the franchise’s frozen) as a doughnut shape to allow for it to spread in the middle and cook through. I don’t know if they are still in business, but we sold tons of those 5” cookies!
