Why do my bagged babby carrots get all wet and soggy when i leave them in the fridge drawer? I would think condensation, but it turns out to be a 1/2 cup of water in an otherwise moist bag from the start.
They are also kept under the grocery produce sprinklers, which wets the carrots, gets standing water in the bag, and exposes them to whatever is carried by the water. Ick.
I can't stand them!
They come sitting in so much water then get slimy because of this so I slip a paper towel inside the bag to soak it up

Soaking in ice water won't take away the musty mildewy smell. I never buy these. I am old. I know how to cut carrot sticks.

right!? they’re just normal carrots trimmed down.
Same as “boneless chicken wings” being just chicken breast. It’s all marketing
Why are baby carrots a thing? I would never buy them.
I never buy them. They always come out of the package slimy.
I feel like carrots never go bad. I’ve had carrots like 3 months on more than one occasion and they were perfectly fine.
Don't throw the baby carrot out with the ice water
