  2. I like canned lentils better than the dry ones. The reason is the dry ones always burst when I cook them. I’ll try your method of soaking because it makes sense. Essentially that’s what’s happening with the canned lentils they are soaking in liquid.

  3. Nice video, Dan! As a Pakistani, I enjoy dal with chapati, with rice, or even cold in a grilled sandwich. I particularly enjoy daal with finely chopped raw onions and a squeeze of lemon. Not sure why, but I love the contrast this method of eating brings. Try it!

  4. The Holy Bible says the world is more or less 6000 years old and it has many stories to prove it together with historical artifacts. In Genesis 1, when God created the world, he gave man to eat plant bearing seeds and fruit. In the book of Daniel, Daniel and the three Hebrew boys chose pulse and water instead of the king’s flesh foods and wine, and they looked better and healthier after a ten day trial.
