Wait… Try "ThermoPro” It has 360° Barkley display. 2-3 second reading accurate ±0.9 F. Waterproof. Motion sensor on/off/wake Backlit screen. On when probe opened. AND only $30. I am really surprised that you did not review it. Why?
J & B are totally on fire!!! They would get mad at me though… I like my beef well done.
Clausen makes the best dill pickles. Hands down.
That intro was weird…
I would grill the steak and broccoli together, along with taters.:)
Was going to enjoy this episode but being English I was banned!!!!!
I can't help it, I love you gals!
The an Irish restaurant in Ocean Shores, WA that does a ribeye marinated in Bailey's Irish Cream. It melts in your mouth!
I made this steak and it's the MOST DISGUSTING thing I've ever had. I love ATK but this is DISGUSTING. Do not ruin even a cheap piece of meat.
They are NOT very subtle with their taste testing. The one that won, if you look to the right of the screen, they have out by itself on the board from the others. All she had to do was look over there and see that. It is not the first time that they have had their "winners" like that. If you know what to look for, you can guess most of what they like at the very beginning.
What about those of us who like well done?
Love the intro song! And the show.
Grilled broccoli 🥦🙂
Honestly broccoli tastes so good without anything added, this seems excessive. I like steamed / raw broccoli in a salad.
"I'm not gonna throw that out of bed"…I'm keeping my mouth shut. Great looking food ladies, thank you.
Can't beat Claussen pickles.
Give me Bourbon, Julia, and, Bridget or give me death!
😳😲😋😛😜😂 I'm fallin' out mah chair– all that looks sooooo good!! 😍😍
Thank you ATK!! ❣️
Are you sure you didn't mix up the Vlasic and the Mt Olive?
I live for this show!
Thermoworks Thermopop is now 70 bucks on Amazon. Time to take another look at these
2:40 and they decide to hit us with some of that Lorem ipsum dolor text
Love the broccoli recipe! Can't wait to try it. 🙂
Bourbon is a type of whiskey. Whiskey is the general term.
Those steaks look like rare to me. Not medium rare. Yuck!
Why not burn out the alcohol before the marinade? It would make more tender meat without the alcohol making the meat bitter?
I like how they work well together, even for the rest of thw team..
Doing the steak tonight. Baked potato your way and carrots with grilled lemon too. Wish me luck.
Regards kosher dill – there is also the method of cure – either vinegar or brine. I've also found that Boar's Head doesn't tend to put sugar in everything too.
Why were there clausen pickles on the side but not rated? They make amazing Garlic Dill pickles…
Check out Bubbies as well they have the best flavor in the sour pickle category
Followed the recipe for the bourbon steak. Too strong (Cough Syrupish). I think marinating this longer than an hour is a mistake.
love the fake labels on the bottles I know exactly what they are
That steak was rare. About 5°F higher on the internal temperature and it would've been the idea medium rare.
Did she really say A CUP OFWORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE ????!?!?!
The ladies do not prefer a floppy pickle.
Why use disposable plastic bags for marination? What a waste.
I'd let Julia eat my kosher dill pickle.
I don't like pickles.
Bridget can still get it!
I tried making the broccoli according to your instructions. Honestly, I was expecting them to be worth the trouble of steaming. But next time I think I will just stick to grilling them directly on the grate. The whole middle step of wrapping them in foil was a whole lot of trouble and could be simplified by just throwing them directly on the grill.
Looks wonderful and I wish I could speak Spanish better.
These lady’s are just plain sexy.. inside and out !! Thank you for everything!
What brand is Bridget's bird shirt? It would make a great gift for bird lovers.
I think you should cook the steaks a lot more. Raw meat don't settle down good in my stomach. People have died from eating meat that wasn't fully cooked because of trichinosis and other things.
I recently read Nicholas Sparks' novel Message in a Bottle, and in the book the male character (I think his name was Blaine or Blake) claims that he can make the Best Steak Ever, and he used this technique of marinating the steaks in Bourbon. He also used some tallow to help grill the steaks as well.
Living in NC you are obligated to eat Mount Olive pickles…. then i went to Mount Olive College (mascot isn't a pickle…. sorely disappointed!)…. and every year we went out to the corner of Cucumber and Vine to watch them drop a huge, glowing pickle for the New Year. Their pickles aren't the best, but i still eat them all the time!
I wish they would have rated the thermometers on one more criteria, which ones are are convenient to keep on your person all day, every day, for an extended period of time. As in a shirt pocket. There is a reason most cooks I've ever worked with have s simple analog pocket thermometer, because it fits in a pocket. The problem with even the smallest of digital thermometer is that they are bulky and top heavy. Try navigating a busy and crowded professional kitchen with that polder thermometer sticking out of a sleeve pocket, and see what happens. Eventually it will slip out of your pocket an onto some hard surface. At least in my experience. Personally i really love the speed and accuracy of a good digital thermometer, but every one I've ever had, eventually died, usually sooner rather than later. I know this is not as much of a concern for home cooks, but it would be nice of if test results were more nuanced, and potential deal breakers pointed out.
let julia have at that broccoli! she isa good rabbit!
I was just thinking about replacing my instant read thermometer and then I saw the title of this video. Not only did I get two great recipes I can't wait to try out, but I got a recommendation on a thermometer!
(which doesn't link to it on Amazon, btw)
Thanks for the great content guys!
I was surprised to see the worst was Vlasic since they make the best SWEET PICKLES; their Gerkins and bread&butter chips are delicious!
