I have a device for steaming small āWhite Castle styleā burgers. It is a metal cabinet that sits over a large steel oven pan to which you add water. It is okay but really not that great and a lot of work. Much better to do the way everyone else doesāhot cast iron pan sear one side then the other. You can put cheese and cover with a dome for a minute at the end.
Why the clickbait title, ATK? Why omit the word "turkey" before "burger" to make it clear? This seems beneath you to purposely mislead viewers for the sake of views, but maybe it's not.
Trickeration.
Putting the ketchup on the cheese and not the bread is psychotic,!!!
Love this tip! I had no ideaš
Loved this until he said turkey…. still love it but…
Waits till the last minute to say…..TURKEY
BURGER!!
Yeah, that's how a restaurant does it. They shut off the griddle and let it cool completely between each burger.
No such thing as a good turkey burger.
Just make an oklahoma smashburger
Fruit does not belong on a burger.
I am 67 years old and this is exactly how my mother taught me to cook hamburgers when I was a kid so this is not something new.
What do you do if you donāt own a nonstick skillet? Didnāt think of that one did ya huh?
Still cant stand how this dude talks out the side of his mouth like he had a stroke. Love ATK butā¦
you can't have a juicy well done burger
Steamed hams
Who wants a well-done burger ????
Loving the gratuitous up close shots of Matt š
I like your videos Dan but this aināt it. Only way this works is if thereās a ridiculous amount of fat in the ground beef.
Mmmm steamed hams
Yuk, not beef!
Food lube š
Those are steamed flat meatballs dude⦠not a real hamburgerā¦
Non stick? Teflon? Deadly duh
This is for a turkey burger recipe they showed recently.
I don't use nonstick pans. Why can't you do this on a steel pan again?
lost me at turkey
No thank you for the non-stick pan. We shouldn't be encouraging the use of those chemicals.
I used to fry hamburgers in a cold skillet, but now I only cook them in the air fryer. They brown up so nicely and taste great.
Pickles!
Does this even work for beef burgers?!
All ground meats should be well done.
So… always use a hot skillet. Heard.
How I fix them, but you forgot mustard, onion, and dill pickleš¢

Hexclad
This is a messy top burner way of cooking your burgers. They'll be grease spatter everywhere until you cover the burgers to cook the inside.
Non-stick??! Toxins? Surprised ATK goes there.
I wants to eat a disc of shoe leather…said no one ever š
Why would anyone eat turkey burgers unless there doctor advised it.
Americas Test Kitchen has been making these bait-and-switch videos more and more now. I don't get why they are doing this?
Click bait. If you disclose upfront these are turkey burgers, no one would watch, we find out at the end.
Ketchup on the cheese? What is going on??
