I probably wouldn't go smaller than that unless they were actually toddlers but the way you've cut it is just amazingly even and perfect looks so good! And if it's a larger cake I'm sure that would make a difference too

I know this video was editing when laying the piece down cus the piece when way bigger for 32 slices , this cake can feed 8 not 32 , if u can't afford it invite less people or just get cheap cake to serve everybody a decent slice.
