  2. Okay im actually making these cookies right now ..I started with the 114g of butter, but once the brown butter was done it only weighed like 90grams ..do I need to make up the difference? ??

  3. Guys c'mon, this is the biggest mistake I see when making chocolate chip cookies, ALWAYS sift in the flour, baking soda and salttttt. AND CHILL FOR 30 MINS after shaping dough into balls. This recipe is amazing with the proportions for each ingredient, and the order as well. Literally the ONLY thing holding it back from being the most amazing chocolate chip cookie you will ever have in your life is if you sift the baking soda, flour and salt instead of just dumping it in, and chilling for at least 30 mins after scooping them into balls. Trust me if you sift those 3 ingredients in, and chill them keeping every other thing the exact same in this recipe, you WILL have the most amazing, melt in your mouth, soft for days cookies EVER. Trust me on this one.

  4. A tip for the cookies
This is what happened with my cookies so I just wanna tell y'all so it doesn't happen to yours:
When you're taking the cookies out of the oven they will probably feel squishy and look raw but mine actually hardened after I took them out of the oven so don't cook them longer thinking they're raw they'll probably become super hard like mine if you take them out of the oven when they're fully cooked.

  5. Made these, but made some healthier adjustments by

    – substituting almost half of the flour with barley flour
    – used only half the amount of choc chips, which were 85% choc
    – replaced the other half of the choc chips with chopped almonds and brazil nuts

Still yum! Next time i would substitute a lot more of the choc with nuts, as the chocolate was a bit over powering (that's if you're still getting used to high % choc)

  6. Pro tip for any European considering this: use way less sugar than she does.

I tried it following her recipe and it’s way too sweet as a few have already pointed out in the comments. My guess is most people with a non American palate will find those cookies too much on the sweet side.

I plan on using half the sugar next time and I’ll update you on whether this recipe still works then.

  7. OMG, I’m so excited to try this recipe recipe. This is like my first time at baking cookies. I hope it works out. Thank you so much. I’ve been looking for a really good recipe and you’re like my favorite content maker.
