A quick recipe
Chicken curry
Masala –
Coriander seeds 1&1/2 tbsp
Cumin 1 tsp
Pepper 1 tbsp
Fennel seeds 1 tsp
Cinnamon 1 inch stick
Cardamom 2
Cloves 3
Red chilli 3
Dry roast and make a fine powder.
To a pressure cooker add 4tbsp oil, 2 sliced onion, green chilli 1, Pandan leaves, ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp, salt and sauté for 5 min.
Now add 2 sliced tomatoes and cook for 4 min.
Add 300 grams chicken pieces, prepared masala, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1&1/2 cup water and cook for 3 whistle.
Now add 1/2 cup thick coconut milk and cook for 1 min.
Puttu
To 1 cup puttu podi add salt and mix well
Now gradually add warm water and mix it.
Rest for 10 min.
Add coconut and steam puttu for 5 min.
Chicken puttu Pirattal
To a kadai add 1&1/2 tbsp oil, 1 sliced onion, 1 green chilli, 1/2 tomato and cook for 3 min.
Now add 1/2 tbsp kulambu Milagai thool, 1tsp garam masala and cook for 1 min.
Now add 1 egg, prepared chicken curry 5tbsp and mix well.
Now add steamed puttu, grated coconut, salt and coriander leaves.
Mix gently and serve it with chicken curry.

Nice sister , but 3 things wanted to point out , 1) puttu texture is different in jaffna , puttu koththonum. 2) we use curry leaves in kulambu 3) we DO NOT use garam masala in jaffna Samayal
We don't use coarse puttu podi like this in Srilanka..we use finely milled roasted rice flour and add boiling hot water to make pittu
