🔥 Easy Oven-Baked Pork Skewers | Juicy & Flavorful Recipe | Flavour and Style



Enjoy juicy, oven-baked pork skewers — perfect for gatherings or a quick, flavor-packed weeknight meal! Made with tender pork cubes marinated in garlic, bell pepper, onion, curry powder, and a blend of bold spices, this simple and speedy recipe brings African-inspired kebabs straight from your oven. It’s ideal as a party appetizer, a hearty meal-prep option, or a standout side at your next BBQ.

Ingredients
– 500 g pork (shoulder or loin), 2 cm cubes
– 1 Tbsp garlic paste
– ½ onion, finely chopped
– ½ bell pepper, diced
– 1 stalk celery, sliced
– 1 leek (white part), sliced
– 2 Tbsp parsley, chopped
– 2 tsp curry powder
– 1 tsp white pepper
– ½ tsp black pepper
– 1 tsp salt
– 2 Tbsp vegetable or olive oil
– Wooden/metal skewers (soak wood 30 min)
– 2 Tbsp melted butter or oil (for basting)

Method
– Whisk garlic, onion, bell pepper, celery, leek, parsley, spices, oil, and salt.
– Toss pork in marinade; refrigerate 2 hrs (or overnight).
– Preheat oven to 250 °C; line tray with foil and rack.
– Thread pork onto skewers; place on rack.
– Bake 10 min at 250 °C, turn and baste, bake 10 min more.
– Lower to 200 °C; bake 5 min, turn and baste, then 6–7 min until edges char.

Rest 5 min before serving.
