People Wagyu is meant to be consumed as rare as you can tolerate. I personally like Rare for Wagyu/ Med-Rare for choice and prime cuts. This is a bit bluer than just rare but isn’t that far off. I still say Wagyu should be seasoned before cooking though. Tastes better imo, otherwise the meat is too buttery in taste.
Why do people say never season your wagyu beef but then after cooking put coarse sea salt? I’m going to season with my favorite seasoning next time.

I actually like my higher quality steaks cooked like this and blue rare but if it’s a cheaper cut I like medium rare. I know just form looking at this it’s better then what you would get in most restaurants good job!
