  1. Fellow Canadians – It's hard to find some of the products used in Canada. Here are some solutions that I tried. Ranch dry seasoning mix is harder to find in our stores, and super expensive on Amazon (in Ontario, anyway), so I made one up using buttermilk powder from Bulk Barn. There are tons of recipes for dry ranch seasoning online. This video is all chicken recipes, but if you watch the others, they call for Chuck roast for many recipes. Blade or cross rib here is similar to Chuck (not called that here). Colby Jack cheese is uncommon here, but you can sub Monterey Jack, or Mexican blend . Walmart is starting to bring in more products like Salsa verde and more enchilada sauce, both red and green (used to be harder to get here). I cannot find French onion soup in a can here, but I added fried onions to beef broth, or you can make up a dry one from Knorr, etc. I will have to get some of my family who goes to Florida in the winter to pick up some items.

  2. My family loves the French onion chicken. I make it gluten-free by mixing Primal Palate French onion seasoning with 10 oz of water in place of the French onion soup. I made it dairy free when cooking for a relative who can't have dairy by omitting the cheese, and it was still delicious. My nephew said, "It tastes like store-bought chicken!" He meant it was as good as restaurant food.

  3. I make zucchini casserole by lining the casserole dish with zucchini, then placing two cans of cream of whatever you like mixed with some milk over top. Then mix a tub of sour cream with two or three grated carrots and place that on top. I put it in the oven ,covered,at 350 for about 35 minutesThen I place buttered stuffing crumbs over the top and put it back in until its golden.

  4. THESE LOOK AMAZING! My grandpa is going to be 80, and I do wellness checks every weekend, but I have written down some of these easy recipes for him, and he is LOVING it! No complicated, hard to follow recipes. Just some good ol' simple meals that everyone is into! He really likes teriyaki chicken, so the easy twist on that is gonna make him so happy 😂❤ big bless from my family to yours

  5. Hi Julia! My 5yo daughter loves to watch your shows before kindergarten in the morning. She’s in her pretend kitchen cooking up a pretend casserole right now and her style of narrating ingredients and directions is just identical to yours! I think you might have helped a budding chef discover a new interest! I love watching your videos because casseroles are a whole category of food I never really learned to make. We’re going to sit down with your book later and pick out one to make together! Thanks for showing such easy recipes. 💕

  6. About the broccoli, you don't have to steam it before you mix it with the rest of the stuff, the heat from the other things will melt them and the round in the oven will heat them up. It also makes the broccoli go less mushy.

  7. Hi ya Julia I always enjoy a good casserole yum. Especially a chicken Parm and a chicken teriyaki two of my faves. Keep all the good content coming welp that's my time keep wild bill well fed and raise those babies up right you rock 👍
