  1. Unfortunately, we Americans are the only ones not using the metric system which makes so much more sense. I learned both and bought measuring cups and spoons with both options. Kitchen scale, cups and spoons with all options under $20.

  3. I make buns almost every day even now I am in Thailand. The recipe I use has 160gm milk to 250gm flour. I throw in a small bit of sugar and a bigger bit of salt and a squirt of oil. I cook 2 at a time in a frtying pan with another for a lid. I use a trivet to keep the buns off the bottom of the frying pan. 10 minutes on a lowish gas then 5 minutes in a 160° airfryer. Never fails.
    I get 4 decent size buns of about 110gm or 6 smaller from the amount if dough I make.
