  1. So been watching shows on and off. Just found out Shotgun Red passed away a number of years ago. So sad. Used many of his recipes on our fishing/hunting trips. He was a kind and gentle man! Wishing all the best to Miss Sheila and Jennifer. Please keep the videos coming. SGR, rest in peace my dear friend…

  2. Great job! I use to come to Shotgun Red to listen to Steve's stories such as Indian fry bread or Aunt Lori's goulash. Now I'm coming here for the awesome recipes like corn beef or cheery hand pies. You girls are doing great!

  3. Those look delicious. Someone on you tube suggests not to wash your corned beef before cooking it to save all of the flavor. So last time I cooked corned beef in a crock pot I didn't wash it and I poured all of the juice in the bag in the crock pot and suggests buy the poster. It was so salty that I couldn't even eat it. I wound up giving it to the dogs. So ever since then I wash my corned beef first and then soak it in big pot of water for several hours or over night to debrine it then rinse it again to get the overwhelming salty taste out of it. I don't know if it was the brand or batch of corned beef that I got but I do that to all corned beef and cured hams from now on just to be safe. I want to taste the meat not an overwhelming salt flavor. Just a tip for you ladies. I don't know if you've ever had that problem with corned beef or cured ham before. But I have. I love your recipes and personalities bye the way. You Girls Rock.

  4. These look amazing. I do the first two most every year, so I know they are good. I also have a smoker version I do with the meat and a side dish of cabbage and a baked potatoe.
Love your videos and your happy sense of humor. You guys are a treasure. God bless all here.

  5. These look great. The breakfast especially 😋!

I'm so happy to have both volumes 1 and 2 of Cooking With Shotgun Red on hand now, just can't ever resist coming back to your charming videos here.

Something I really appreciate about your cooking is you use all the ingredients – you do not waste anything – so important!

  6. I love St. Paddy's day, because corned beef and cabbage is my favorite meal, and I like using the left over corned beef to make Rueban sandwiches which is also my favorite. Thank you for sharing, the breakfast segment looks like a winner as well

  7. I'm gonna make the 1st dish. But I love the sandwich at the end looks incredible. Just bought my corned beef this weekend not sure the difference between flat cut and point cut. Flat was slightly more expensive and that's what I got. They dropped the price on eggs at walmart so I bought some it's now 3.25 a dozen. Thank you so much for all 3 recipes. I'm Irish myself.☘☘☘
