You needed more eggs in the chicken patties. I use 3 eggs for 2 cans of chicken. It's the glue and you could have that extra one you wanted. 😊
Your cat would so love that chicken juice. Gives her fluids and electrolytes.
Oh I do love this and all your videos. Another recipe is for taco green peppers. We use that taco mixture in multiple recipes. I made taco meat & potatoe casserole with that mixture last night. It was amazing. Again a million thanks and God bless ❤

I made the Lemon/Basil Chicken Salad today for my lunch and oh my goodness!!! It is delicious! I just wish I had a baguette to toast to eat it with. I will pick that up when I get out to eat with it. Thank you for sharing the recipe!
One tip about lemons–the thicker the rind, the less juice you will get. I try to buy lemons with a thinner rind or let them sit on the countertop until they feel right. Seems like the pith inside shrinks with time or something. And I think the color changes from light yellow to darker. Hard to explain, but once you know, you know.

All that delicious juice from the canned chicken would make a wonderful treat for Gracie. When I drain tuna I always save the juice for my cats. They go crazy for it. 😊

I put my chicken mixture in the fridge for about a 1/2 – 1 hour. You can do this before or after you form the patties. They will stiffen up & are less likely to fall apart.

Sweetie- cut the ends of the lemons it makes it easier to squish. Next time add some lemon zest…big flavor. Zest the whole lemon 1st don't waste resources, u can freeze the zest or dehydrate. Keep on cooking😊
Microwave your lemon for about 10-15 seconds to make it give more juice.
I find canned chicken way too salty.
Maybe use 2 eggs and put bread crumbs in the mix to bind it up.❤
Hello Mandy, I am wondering why you throw the juice from your chicken cans. Have you ever made your own broth using your veggie scraps, bones from a roasted chicken and the broth from your cans? You can freeze all of it in a ziplock bag in your freezer until ready to use. I love you and yours but, it breaks my heart to see you dump it. Makes a great addition for gravy and sauces.

Try cutting the end of the lemon off before putting it in the squeezer. I love canned chicken. It is a good thing to keep on hand for qick meals. I will definitely be trying the chicken salad recipe.
