  1. Hi Dani! Someone gave me a bag of this because they know i love to experiment with new foods for health and i love black beans but didn't know what to pair it with…. thank you for the wonderful video with important tips and recipies! i will be trying the recipe with the peas and maybe will try some pasta in with some sort of soup or even with a marinara and some cheese or something…

  2. Thank you for the Black bean pasta cooking time. I just cooked some, for the first time, and it came out gummy and torn apart. I came here to see what I did wrong. I, now, know to reduce cooking time and, even maybe, the temperature of the boil. 😆

  3. (Don't mind the Avatar – it's my teenage son's LOL! ) So I was really excited to try this pasta for the first time. I had tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, olive oil, basil & garlic all ready to go in some pasta salad but thankfully I tried a plain noodle first! That was going to be REALLY disappointing, they have a strong black bean flavor – I laid one on a slab of butter, not so good, then I went for another with some salsa, meh… That's when I turned to Mr. Google! I hopped on and found your video! The pasta has gone into the fridge to try with the peas & cheese later and I think I may also try them with edamame and Trader Joe's Asian dressing as well. Thank you for coming to my rescue! I was at a total loss!!

  4. Thanks for the tip re: reduced cooking time! I tried the Trader Joe's brown rice pasta and thought it was WAY too mushy, which put me off gluten-free pastas, but maybe if I cook this one for less than the bag instructs, it might hold up better! Love the idea of just adding peas and parm. So easy and quick for a weeknight dinner!

  5. Hi Dani! I finally got around to trying this black bean pasta and I just wanted to thank you for the suggestion! I wanted something light and healthy and this hit the spot. I paired it with bits of mozzarella cubes, grilled chicken, diced cherry tomatoes and drizzled with some of Trader Joe's balsamic vinaigrette. It may sound interesting but it was delicious and would also be great in the summer. I wouldn't have tried the interesting looking pasta had you not suggested it, so thank you:)

  6. +@Clean & Delicious, I love your channel simply for the wonderful knowledge it is bringing me. I have recently learned about the glycemic index, and how HEALTHY foods are contributing to my acne. I cut them out and had no idea what to replace them with. Some of my trigger foods are whole wheat bread, and pasta. I NEVER knew of black bean pasta. THANK YOU, I now have my pasta replacement.

  7. I used Trader Joes quinoa pasta which also turned gummy and mushy when I followed the cooking time specified by TJ's. Not good! I do have a bag of the black bean pasta that you used so I can give it a try using your cook time suggestion. 😊
I'm excited to try all three of your recipes!

  8. I am so glad you posted this because I just bought 2 bags of the black bean pasta after watching your video! All 3 look delicious….not sure which one to try first. P.S. Love watching your snaps! 🙂

  9. I recently tried the black bean pasta, and I wasn't impressed. But I think like you said it gets weird texture wise when you cook it too long. Well definitely have to try again with one of these yummy looking recipes.
