What can be the substitute for sake?
4 large chicken thighs deboned. 3 tbsp cornstarch. Oil for frying . 1/4 cup cooking sake . 1/4 cup mirin. 3 Tbsp soy sauce. 1 Tbsp white sugar . 2 cloves garlic . 1 tsp grated ginger. 1/4 tsp sesame seeds . Scallion for garnish.
This looks so tasty, can't wait to try ❤❤😊
Good 🥘🍗👍
Just made this for my family and they loved it, especially how crunchy the skins are! 😋 Chicken was perfectly soft and juicy.
Only change I made was adding a bit of cornstarch slurry to the sauce to make it thicker, and I think next time I'll double the sauce recipe so it can coat the chicken even more. Thanks so much for sharing this lovely recipe ❤
Can Sake and Mirin be skipped? Is there an alternative for that? I don't take alcohol.
Unfollow
is it better to grate or blend the ginger?
Silly question – but can kids eat this ? Does the alcohol in sake evaporate during cooking?
a very satisfying dish!!!! ❤️❤️❤️😘
you may put the recipe in the description
But soya sauce are to salty🙂
Hi Ma'am i really love this recipe? May I ask if I can bake this? If yes, may i know the temp and time. Thank you so much
Can you replace the sauce with bottled teriyaki sauce?
Disgusting salmonella 🤮
This looks amazing but I need measurements, how much sake? How much sugar? How much mirin?
Yeah man, try and find sake and esp mirin in my part of the world
Looks delicious, the recipe please
What is sake and marrin ?
What is considered "regular" soy sauce?
Is there anything I can use in place of the mirin?
thanks for this recipe! can i ask if there's a possibility to substitute/remove sake and mirin from the recipe? i live in a place where it's expensive to have both and i want to follow this recipe while maintaining the taste. thank you
🤍 I adore you and everything you make! This one looks so delicious and easy; I can’t wait to make this one next for my family! Some steamed veggies and rice on the side…🤯🤤🤤🤤🤓🥰! Thank you for sharing!
