I use it to make fritters, mostly courgette with curry powder, an egg, salt and pepper, a bit of flour. Makes a quick and yummy lunch, I top with mayonaisse and fresh tomato.
i dont know what i was doing wrong but when i put the oreos in the processor, it wouldnt do anything! I thought i put too many oreos in there, so i reduced it to 12 from 24. Still nothing! And i reduced it from 12 to 6. Still nothing! So i used a regular blender to pulverize my oreos! That took SO MUCH LONGER to process 200 pieces of cookies! What was i doing wrong???!!! Someone please help me!!! This processor worked with my carrots, onions, and everything else but not when i'm processing cookies or crackerS!! HELP!! ;{
Good grief, I was teaching women in Japan to make bread in their Cuisinart in 1984, surely people know about this…., no?
Wont the crushed ice break the blade? Or dull it alot?
Which is this model of food processor?

I'd like to request recopies for people who are diabetic and can't have foods that are high in sugar and salt.
I wouldn't say ingenious, it's just using it in different ways it was made for.
Oh My

I always make pizza dough in my kitchenaid food processor, but I usually use warm water to help activate the yeast. Also, the recipe that came with the processor never suggested waiting 10 mins before adding the oil ( and I always use olive oil for better flavor). It also suggested breaking the dough ball into chunks after it collects at the top of the blade and re-whirling a few times ( to approximate kneading, I guess). I usually let the finished dough rest in an oiled bowl afterwards — at least 30 mins if using quick rising yeast. Curious if it makes any difference to wait before adding the oil, so will definitely try this. I also usually add a bit of salt, garlic powder, and herbs de province, thyme, or oregano ( and sometimes a dash of cayenne if I’m feeling frisky) to the dough to enhance the flavor.
ATK, Hello, I had NEVER CONSIDERED USINF THIS TO CRUSH ICE, MIXING DOUGH, YES,, CHOPPING UP NUTS NO,, Onions,no, these ideas I’ll surely remember now,THANKS,, CIAO,🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks for the good tips.
There are so many things better suited to the food processor rather than the blender. That's why I ordered me a Hamilton Beach!!
My food processor instructions specifically warns against using the blades for ice. They say it damages the blade. Instead, use the parmesan shredding disc. You end up with something like slushie ice.
I process dried, stale bread and put it in ziploc containers in the freezer. I use the bread crumbs even months later. Waste not-want not
A great way to clean the food processor when done is to fill with warm water to the fill line and add a couple drops of dish soap and process. Makes cleaning it so much easier.
2/22. Texas here. These are great tips I never knew.
Thank you, brilliant video
Helpful. Thanks
You can tell the narrator's voice is the life of any party!😂
Very helpful thank you
I thought that was fantastic
The link to the pizza dough recipe is different from what she does in video even though recipe is also using food processor. In recipe, it says warm water along with other differences. It would be good if things matched what was being said to do in video.
