5-ingredient Chocolate Strawberry Pops๐คฉ #easyrecipes #healthyrecipes #viralrecipe
5-ingredient Chocolate Strawberry Pops๐คฉ My chocolate covered strawberry yogurt clusters/bites video went viral last spring, so I wanted to try to make them into pops. They turned out so good๐ These are such a yummy healthier dessert idea for spring! They are so refreshing and delicious๐
โข
Ingredients for 4 big popsicles:
1 cup diced strawberries (240 ml / 180g)
1/2 cup (lactose-free) full-fat Greek yogurt (120 ml / 125g)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
โข
Toppings:
150 g / 5 oz. dark chocolate, melted (70-80% dark chocolate)
1 teaspoon coconut oil
optional: freeze-dried strawberries
โข
1. Mix the strawberries, yogurt and vanilla extract together
2. Spoon dollops onto a plate lined with parchment paper. Push popsicle sticks into the dollops
3. Freeze for about 2 hours
4. Melt the chocolate in the microwave with the coconut oil in 30 second intervals, mixing in between. I recommend using dark chocolate, because milk and white chocolate are thicker when melted, so dipping the popsicles would be more difficult. Tips for dipping the popsicles: 1. Make sure that the popsicles are fully frozen before dipping 2. Let the chocolate cool down for a few minutes before dipping. 3. Dip the popsicles quickly because the chocolate sets very fast. Melt the chocolate again if it starts to set in the bowl
5. Store in the freezer. Let defrost for about 15-20 minutes before serving

I've never been a yogurt person because of a very bad experience as a child. However, your dishes are challenging me to give yogurt a try again. Thank youโค
