300g fettuccine or any long pasta – cook in salted water
2 tablespoons butter + 1 tablespoon oil – heat in a skillet on medium
1-2 teaspoons chili flakes – add to skillet
2-3 cloves garlic sliced – add to skillet
Cook the chili and garlic for about 2 min
350g raw large shrimp – add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and cook 4-6 minutes until pink and cooked through
Transfer the cooked pasta along with about 3/4 of the pasta water to the shrimp
Another tablespoon or so of butter – stir it into the pasta mixture
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley – add to the pasta
Salt and pepper to season – serve
