Tip to anyone else that tries these: they taste more like peanut butter fudge without the chocolate or the baked inside of a Reese’s cup but not a cookie. I’d do 1/4th less sugar I found these to be super sweet.
The only air tight container I have is my stomach when I eat them all and the only air that is getting out is the farts and burps lol.

These are so bomb. I modify mine a bit and i found them to be extremely soft, chewy and moist
1 cup creamy peanut butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
Optional, but I squish a Lindt milk chocolate piece in the middle right out the oven, instead of the usual Hershey kiss

Never let them cool completely, always and I mean always, eat a warm one.
I did this recipe and it makes it more of a cookie brittle. If you want cookies I would say to add a half cup of flour and butter

There’s nothing wrong with “natural” peanut butter. It doesn’t have any extra oils added like commercial peanut butter brands like Skippy and Jif that add unnecessary ingredients such as soybean oil.
For the vanilla extract. My mom wouldn’t measure it she would just say “that looks good enough” 😂

-1 cup sugar (premium sugar works not granulated for this recipe)
-1 cup peanut butter
-1 egg
-Preheat oven to 350
-Put in oven for 10 minutes
-Voila theres your peanut butter cookies🥜🧈🍪

Isn’t measuring peanut butter the worst? I always scoop out some with a spatula and put a measuring cup next to it and say, That looks about right! I dislike washing dishes with pb all over them.
I use jif crunchy peanut butter cuz if you want peanuts in your peanut butter cookies this is the best
