I put tofu in smoothies sometimes too. I'm needed some new ways to cook tofu. I mostly make tofu scrambles. It's easy & quick.
I think using tofu for baking pies (especially pumpkin pies) is my favorite! I avoided it for years because i thought it must be "gross" but you really can't taste the tofu!

I really needed this, so thank you so much. I do have a question, though. What do you consider a serving of tofu? From what I can tell, the packages all say they have 4 servings, but whenever I see a recipe made with a photo, it looks a good deal more on one plate than what I would estimate one serving to be. I just don't know so I am genuinely asking. I do realize that unlike meat, it's got a better nutrition profile so it probably doesn't really matter if I splurge a little on our plates/in our bowls. I just know that if I serve one serving as per the package, it doesn't look like much (especially for those really hearty eaters in the house!). I appreciate your input, Nikki.

my favorite way to cook tofu is air fried. just salt pepper and some herbs. so good
Just this week I used soft tofu to make a creamy lemon pasta sauce and oh my goodness – so so good!! I love how versatile tofu is, and it's something I wish I had known when I first went vegetarian as a kid.
I make tofu like this all the time, its the only way my non-vegan family will eat it…..they love Asian dishes! I would call it 'pan fried extra tofu'. Keep it simple, but when you know, you know! 😉 Loving your channel so much, thank you for such brilliant and practical content xoxo

My two favourite ways to eat tofu are: chocolate tofu mousse and tofu scramble.
Chocolate tofu mousse: In a blender, put 1 pkg silken tofu, 1 pkg MELTED Enjoy Life chocolate chips, 1 tbsp maple syrup and 1 tsp vanilla. It blends up creamy but keep it in the fridge for a few hours to firm up, and it's so decadent.
Tofu Scramble: saute any veggies (I love mushrooms, green peas, broccoli) in 1 tbsp oil in frying pan; drain and add 1 pkg firm tofu, crumbled. Add 1/2 tsp turmeric, salt & pepper, and 2 tbsp nutritional yeast. Fry over medium heat until as browned as you like. You can also add cumin, garlic, cayenne to taste.
Keeping dates in the refrigerator isn't weird at all! They have the most wonderful, gooey consistency and taste so decadent, just on their own. I think the initial quality factors in, because a good medjool date like you have there is exactly right.

I have been vegan for over 25 years…cooked tofu many different ways…made the pudding/pie many times…but NEVER in the ways you just taught me!! I can't wait to try everything you showed us! Your chocolate chip cookie recipe from a while ago… with the slightly ground oats… is BY FAR…the best cookie recipe EVER! Those of you reading this…if you haven't made those cookies…find the recipe and do so!!!…

I love your tofu ricotta! It really can be used for so many things! I love it for a snack with rice crackers and add sliced almonds and cranberries on top!
The frittata is NEXT LEVEL made it yesterday and ate half of it over a big salad. Gonna eat the rest tonight 🤤 The cinnamon in it is so freaking good.❤
Great video👏….I cannot believe how many tofu videos came out this week and everyone's recipes are unique…I just cube mine and toss in the air fryer and then throw in my saucy stir fry….or I just eat it right out of the package😆

More great recipes, thank you! I find that while I don’t always follow a recipe, what you give me are ideas to expand my repertoire. I love tomatoes, and sun dried tomatoes are on another plane for me, so the pan fried tofu looks like a must try. Everything you do makes it easier to eat healthier and go vegan. I love potato starch to amp up the crispy factor. Looking forward to trying some of these recipes, they all look great. Hope you have a great week.
