  2. Great recipes, as a Vitamix user I damaged my kidneys w/ my green smoothies every day because I didn’t know about oxalates. Tumeric is super high so be careful with that and the skin of citrus is very high in oxalates as well. The boiling of citrus and the skins and drinking this during covid caused oxalate toxicity. I couldn’t walk, the kidney pain was so severe. I have spent the past 5 years researching and discovering this hidden issue and lowering oxalates in my whole food plant based diet. Those of us who eat lots of super foods and are the most disciplined are at the greatest risk as the high oxalate foods are the beloved super foods.

  5. For those woth a history of calcium oxalate kidney stones ..avoid chia seeds, collagen and most nut milks..especially almond. Healthy isn't healthy for every one. Definitely no spinach ever

  6. I’m always a little conflicted when thinking about adding nuts or seeds to my foods as I have a severe case of Rheumatoid arthritis and the AIP diet has been recommended for me and that protocol forbids nuts and seeds. Can you give your opinion on this?
