  1. Medium rare is the best way (in my opinion). I used to have a friend who ordered hers WELL Done…. Yuck!!!
    Why not eat shoe leather!
    We went out to eat one time and she stood up the menu between us so that she couldn't see the "blood" on my plate, even though I explained to her that it wasn't even blood!!!

  2. That's why I prefer a skillet on the stove. It's way too easy to overcook a steak on a grill. I heat my pan 4 or 5 minutes. I toss a pat of tallow in it and just as it gets melted, the steak gets laid in for 2 minutes on each side. Seared and blue rare.
