  1. As usual Al, looked great.. Never under estimate a pellet grill. I LOVE my Recteq's. Love my offset, but a pellet smoker makes things a lot easier in a busy life. Glad that the H's got to get some eastern bbq as well… thanks for sharing

  2. Brisket, steak, and ribs (ika, brisket on a stick). You did an amazing job of showing our fellow bbq enthusiasts from across the pond how American BBQ can improve grocery store meats.
Love where you are going with your channel(s)
BTW, I have that same Dalstrong knife

  3. As a retired over the road truck driver 4.5 million miles. I could always look forward to my Texas deliveries to get some Texas style real meat… Lockhart, TB's… magic… My wife purchased a Grilla Grills Silverback pellet smoker 8 years ago… It has changed not only my family's lives but my whole neighborhood in this little town we call home…. Smoked food is absolutely precious… That mind blowing, eye closing mmmmmm on the 1st bite??? Yes!!!!!

  4. "I can't believe this" as Mrs H bites into the rib. Pellet grills just make it easier with fire management compared to every other type of smoker. The super smoke is a game changer. Any ideas why dirty smoke in offsets and pellet grills doesn't taste bad? Dirty smoke in a kamado to me tastes bad. Love these videos in showing and teach new comers to smoke the tricks of the cook.

  5. I will be receiving my Lone Star Gillz pellet smoker in a couple of months. I think beef ribs are going to be the 1st cook for sure. You can mix their wood chips in with your pellets to get super close to an offset flavor. Can’t wait to try replicate some of your cook.

  6. I wish I could do overnight cooks. If I tried, I'm afraid the bears, or some other critters, would have a feast before I did…lol I would have to keep it on the grill/smoker as long as possible and then finish it in my oven

  7. Since moving from Texas to Tennesse last year I have used my pellet smoker exclusively. It does cook differently but have had no complaints yet about using it. Would love to use my wood burner but sourcing the hard wood isn't the same as in Texas just being able to go to HEB or to any local hardware store to get hardwood.

  8. Nice work. I was inspired a while ago from an episode from DDD from a place in the Bronx called Smoke Joint which I don't think is around anymore. Long story short. Beef Ribs are amazing. What I did pick up was a BBQ sauce which is out of this world. They put just a touch on the rib so it's not what you would think. Out of this world stuff. Meanwhile please tell us your source for meat. I live in CA and it's tough to source.

  9. Al,
Great video! Always important to show that high quality bbq can be produced even if one does not have super expensive stick burners. Do you have any tips for people on maintaining the low 160 temp for a long time on charcoal based smokers (kamado, WSM, drum smokers, etc.)?
    Keep up the great content!👍

  10. @eatmorevegans / Al, you know you can cook em on a pellet grill 🤣… I showed you pics of me doing it on my Weber smokefire a while back – man it was good … might need to get me some more ribs I think
